Can I record and transcribe interviews on my iPhone or iPad?
Yes. Evergreen records video directly on iPhone and iPad and transcribes it live as you shoot. The moment you stop, the footage is transcribed, searchable and ready to edit — no upload, no separate transcription step.
Does the transcription work offline?
Yes. Transcription and AI analysis run on-device using Apple's built-in speech and Apple Intelligence models. Your media never leaves your machine and no internet connection is required.
How do I search across all of my footage?
Evergreen indexes every word of every transcript across every project. One search bar returns matching quotes, clips and notes from your entire archive — with speaker and timestamp — instantly.
Does Evergreen work with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve?
Yes. Evergreen imports and exports FCPXML, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve timelines, plus SRT, VTT and ITT subtitles, so your selects round-trip back into your editor of choice.
Can I use my own AI provider?
Evergreen runs on-device by default. Teams that want cloud models can bring their own key for OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Azure OpenAI or a custom endpoint. Keys are stored in the Keychain and you choose when they're used.
Which devices does Evergreen run on?
Evergreen is built for Mac, iPad and iPhone — capture in the field on iPhone or iPad, then search and edit at the desk on Mac.
When can I get Evergreen?
Evergreen is in development and coming soon to iPhone, iPad and Mac. Pricing and availability will be announced at launch.
